Image appears distorted due to loose video cable connection.
Cause:
The video cables that are connected to the back of the base unit or the back of the display unit are not secured, causing power to come and go from the display unit.
Solution:
Secure all cables in the proper outlets.
1) Turn the computer off.
2) Tighten all video cable connections:
a) Securely connect the video cable to the video port on the back of the computer.
NOTE: Make sure that the finger screws that hold the video cable onto the back of the computer are tight.
b) If the video cable plugs into the back of the display unit, plug the power cable into the back of the display unit.
c) Plug the power cord into the electrical outlet.
3) Turn the computer and display unit on.
